Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Moong dhuli daal 1/4 cup mixed with 1 cup of urad daal
  2. Whisked curd ...1 cup
  3. Salt to taste
  4. Red chilly powder to taste
  5. Black pepper powder 1 /2 tea spoon
  6. Roasted cumin seed powder 1 tea spoon
  7. Sweet and sour chutney as per requirement
  8. Some pomegranate seeds

Instructions

  1. Soak both the daala for 4 hours, wash it and then grind it
  2. In a thali or parat take the batter and knead with palms of your hands till it gets fluffy. Do check it in water bowl, if it floats then it's done
  3. Now fry in hot to medium oil. You can make with or without hole in the middle
  4. Soak in salted water for some time, take out and squeeze
  5. Arrange in a plate, pour dahi, chutney, salt and masala
  6. Garnish with pomegranate seeds
  7. Enjoy
