Ingredients to make Dahi Bhalle Chaat...

  • FOR THE dahi BHALLAS....
  • urad dal 2 cups soaked
  • salt to taste
  • green chillies chopped 2
  • ginger chopped 1 tbsp
  • coriander leaves chopped a fistful
  • curry leaves few
  • onion small finely chopped
  • Thick curd 4 cups
  • Sev as desired
  • Boondi as desired
  • dates Chutney
  • green chutney
  • pomegranate seeds
  • Chat masala 1 tbsp

How to make Dahi Bhalle Chaat...

  1. Soak the dal in enough water for atleast two hours.
  2. Grind it into a thick batter by adding little water.
  3. Mix in all the ingredients listed under it's preparation.
  4. Deep fry these in hot oil on high flame in batches.
  5. Keep an eye over them since they are fried on high flame.
  6. Whisk the curd with some salt and little water.Do not make it watery.
  7. After frying, drop these bhalle in the curd.
  8. If desired add some chopped green chillies and coriander too.
  9. Now for the assembling, in a serving bowl, add the dahi bhallas and top it up with the chutneys

My Tip:

You can add in as many eggs as you want. Also, do not hesitate to add in as much cheese as possible. You can also add a variety of other cheeses. Onions and other veggies are optional.
