ABOUT Pesto RECIPE

A beautiful Italian sauce bursting with flaovrs of fresh basil.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 2 cups Fresh Basil Leaves
  2. 2 Garlic cloves
  3. 1/4 cup Pine Nuts
  4. 2/3 cup Olive Oil divided
  5. 1/2 cup Pecorino/parmesan cheese (grated)
  6. Salt and Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Add basil, garlic, and pine nuts in a grinder until coarsely chopped. .
  2. Add 1/2 cup of the oil, salt and pepper and process until smooth.
  3. If using immediately, add all the remaining oil and pulse until smooth.
  4. Transfer the pesto to a large serving bowl and mix in the cheese.
  5. Serve with fresh pasta.
