ABOUT Amritsari Aam Papad Chicken RECIPE

A unique chicken starter which has a blend of tangy, spicy and sweet flavour.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 2 chicken breast boneless cut into 1/2 inch pieces
  2. Aam papad 10-12
  3. Ginger garlic paste 1 tablespoon
  4. Kalonji 1 teaspoon
  5. Turmeric powder 1/4th teaspoon
  6. Red chilli powder 1 teaspoon
  7. Raw mango puree 3 tablespoons
  8. Cumin powder 1 tablespoon
  9. Coriander powder 1 tablespoon
  10. Oil 1 tablespoon
  11. Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Put chicken in a large mixing bowl and add ginger garlic paste, kalonji, red chilli powder, salt, turmeric, cumin powder, coriander powder and mango puree and mix well. Set aside to marinate for 15 minutes.
  2. Separate the aam papad pieces and place on a work top.
  3. Now put the marinated chicken pieces over the aam papad and roll
  4. Heat a non stick grill pan and drizzle oil over it.
  5. Add chicken pieces to the grill pan and cook both sides. It should be done on both sides and the aam papad should melt a bit.
  6. Transfer into a serving dish and serve hot.
