Egg chops

Ingredients to make Egg chops

  • eggs -3
  • potatoes - 2 large
  • chilli pwd -1 tsp
  • turmeric - a pinch
  • cumin pwd - 1/4 tsp
  • Garam masala - 1/4 tsp
  • salt as per taste
  • Rawa or breadcrumbs -1/4 cup

How to make Egg chops

  1. Boil potatoes. Mash and add all masalas, salt and mix well. Keep aside.
  2. Boil 2 of the eggs. Peel and cut in half lengthwise.
  3. Whisk the remaining egg in a bowl and add salt.
  4. Make 4 balls from the mashed potatoes. Flatten each on your palm, keep one half egg, open side down and cover with the potato from other side. Egg has to be covered by potato on all sides. Make a cutlet like shape. Keep these chops in fridge for 15 mins.
  5. Heat oil for deep frying.
  6. Take each ball, roll in beaten egg and dip in rawa to coat all sides. Deep fry till golden.
  7. Serve with ketchup or cheese dip.
