Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 2 cups all purpose flour
  2. 1/2 cup dried fenugreek leaves
  3. Salt as per taste
  4. Pinch of asafoetida
  5. 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  6. Oil for deep frying
  7. 1/4 tsp Ajwain
  8. 4 tsp Oil

Instructions

  1. Add all purpose flour,salt,fenugreek leaves,turmeric powder,ajwain, hing and 4 tsp oil in a bowl. Add adequate water and knead a soft dough.
  2. Rest the dough aside for 30 minutes.
  3. Divide the dough into equal portions and roll out into rotis
  4. Cut the rotis either in square or diamond shape.
  5. Heat oil and deep fry over low flame until golden brown and crisp
  6. Serve with tea or coffee
