Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Banganapalli mango pulp from 2 mangoes
  2. Full cream milk 1 cup
  3. sugar 1 cup
  4. Ghee 2 table spoons
  5. Rava 1/2 cup
  6. Baking soda 2 tsp
  7. Baking powder 2 tsp
  8. Maida Flour 1 cup
  9. Almond/vanilla essence 2 tsp


  1. Peel and grind mango in a mixer grinder
  2. Mix the pulp with 1 cup of milk 1 cup of sugar and 2 tbsp of almond essence. These are the wet ingredients.
  3. Take anothet bowl add 1 cup of Rava half cup of Rava 1 cup Maida 2 tbsp Baking Soda and 2 Tbsp Baking powder mix together. These are the dry ingredients.
  4. Mix both the wet and dry ingredients togethers take a bowl and grease it with ghee.
  5. Pour the prepared mixture and tap the vessel twice such that the level of the batter is even.
  6. Pre heat idli cooker with water in low flame. Place two idli plates on the top and place the container.
  7. Let it be in low flame for 45 mins.Allow it to cool for 15 mins.
  8. You can also bake it in oven for 45 mins at 180°C
