Very typical kokani Vaal coconut salan/curry

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. 200 grams Vaal/butter beans
  2. 75grams dabur coconut milk
  3. 1 onion chopped fine
  4. 1tspn ginger paste
  5. 1 tspn garlic crush
  6. Curry leaves
  7. Salt to taste
  8. 1tbspn dhaniya powder
  9. 1tblspn wheat flour

Instructions

  1. 100 grams Vaal sprout washed
  2. Keep ready all ingredients
  3. Heat ghee in a pot add curry leaves cummin seeds & 1 green chilli slit
  4. Add 1 chopped onion,saute
  5. Add salt and 1/2 tspn turmeric
  6. Add washed Vaal/ butter beans now
  7. Mix lightly ,add 2 glasses water cook on high 4-5 minutes then slow flame till done
  8. Once done add 1cup dabur coconut milk tetra pack
  9. Boil only 1 minute close flame
  10. Stir lightly
  11. Remove in a bowl garnish with coriander
  12. Enjoy with steamed rice or jawar roti
