This is recipe of my mother in law and i am very grateful to her that she teach me such a lovely pickles.

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Raw mangoes 2 kg
  2. mustard oil 1 kg
  3. mustard 1/ 2 cup
  4. Fenu greek 1 spoon
  5. Fennel seeds 2 spoon
  6. Ajwain 1 spoon
  7. cumin 1 spoon
  8. salt as per ur taste
  9. turmeric 2 spoon
  10. Red chilli powder 2 spoon


  1. Wash and dry the mango, cut in small cubes with skin.In a glass bowl put the mango with salt, turmeric and mix it well.Set aside for about 3-4 hour.Spread the mango cubes over dry surface and let it dry out preferably in sun light for 4-5 hours. Mango cubes should be little dry but still moist. Roast fenugreek,ajwain ,cumin fennel seeds and grind it. Also grind mustard seed.Add all the spices and oil to mango cubes .Keep the Mango pickle in glass jar with lid on. Pickle should be ready in 4-7 days. Mango cubes are nicely marinated with spices.
