Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Arbi ke patte(Leaves) 5
  2. Besan 5 tablespoon
  3. ajwain 1 teaspoon
  4. Chopped Green Chillies 2
  5. chopped coriander leaves 1 tablespoon
  6. Red Chilli Powder 1/2 teaspoon
  7. Haldi 1/2 teaspoon
  8. a pinch of Hing
  9. Mustard oil 3 teaspoon
  10. salt as per taste
  11. Chat masala
  12. Lemon juice 2 teaspoon
  13. White sesame seeds for garnish


  1. Clean the Arbi leaves with water.
  2. Make a paste by mixing all the other ingredients.
  3. Apply a layer of paste on one leaf and place the 2nd leaf over it. Now apply paste on 2nd leaf and cover with 3rd leaf. Repeat the same procedure till all 5 leaves are smeared with paste of besan.
  4. Carefully roll the leaves into a cylindrical shape and tie with a thread.
  5. Place the roll in a steamer for 15-20mins.
  6. After cooling slice into 1/2 inch thickness.
  7. Shallow fry the slices in a pan and after getting crisp serve them in a plate and garnish with chat masala and white sesame seeds.
