Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Amaranth leaves...1 bunch
  2. Curd sour...250 grams
  3. Besan....1/2 cup
  4. Desi ghee...1 table spoon
  5. Salt and red chilly powder to taste
  6. Fenugreek seeds.. 1 tea spoon
  7. Cumin seeds..,1/2 tea spoon
  8. Cloves 4
  9. Asafoetida...1 pinch
  10. Turmeric powder....1/2 tea spoon


  1. Wash and chop Amaranth leaves
  2. Whisk besan, curd and 6 cups of water, so that no lumps are there
  3. In a woke pour half ghee add asafoetida, cumin seeds and all the whole masalas and cook for a while
  4. Add besan and curd batter
  5. When half done, add Amaranth leaves
  6. Cook till done, check the consistency required
  7. In a tadka pan, heat remaining ghee and add red chilli powder and give tadka to the bowl of kadhi
