ABOUT Dahi vada RECIPE

This dish can be served in any ocassion whether it festival, kitti parties or whenever you have craving of it you can quickly prepare it and enjoy it.

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. White lentil 1/2 cup (soak 2 hours and grind)
  2. Curd 2 cups
  3. Cumin seeds 1/2 teaspoon
  4. Ginger paste 1/2 teaspoon
  5. Salt To taste
  6. Green chilli paste 1/2 teaspoon
  7. Roasted cumin seeds powder 2 teaspoon
  8. Black salt 1 teaspoon
  9. Red chilli powder 1/2 teaspoon
  10. Oil (for frying)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine grinded qhite lentil, salt, cumin seeds, ginger paste and green chilli paste and mix it well.
  2. Meanwhile, heat oil in a frying pan and make vada of it del fry it.
  3. Side by side boil water in a vessel
  4. Now, soak these fried vadas in boiled water for 4-5 minutes then drain water from it.
  5. Take a bowl, combine curd, roasted cumin seeds powder, red chilli powder and black salt in it and mix it very well.
  6. Now drop soaked vadas in it and serve it.
