This payasam can be made with thin seviyan or vermicelli

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Roasted Seviyan...1/2 cup
  2. Milk....5 cups
  3. Sugar to taste....1/2 cup
  4. Cardamom powder of 4 cardamoms
  5. Saffron few strands
  6. Dry fruits as required

Instructions

  1. Boil milk , add seviyan and let it boil to half of the milk and seviyan is tender and mixed up with the milk, add saffron also
  2. Add sugar and boil for some more time.
  3. Add cardamom powder and all the dry fruits
  4. Serve in a serving dish
  5. Or serve it in individual bowls and serve hot or cold
