ABOUT Rabri Malpua RECIPE

I made it for raksha bandhan.It's my brother's favourite.This delicious recipe is from North India.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Milk 1 ltr
  2. Sugar Syrup 400 gms
  3. Maida 200 gms
  4. Ghee for frying
  5. Cardamom powder 1/2 tsp
  6. Pistachios for garnishing

Instructions

  1. Reduce the milk to 1/3 to make rabri.
  2. Cool it down up to room temperature
  3. Then add maida and mix it well with blender.
  4. If required add milk .The batter should be of pouring consistency.
  5. Then heat the ghee in flat pan.
  6. Pour some batter in the pan to make a roundish shape.
  7. When ready,add it immediately to hot sugar syrup(500 sugar and 250 GM water).
  8. Garnish with pistachios.Top it with some rabri.
  9. Ready !
