Ingredients Serving: 1

  1. Wheat flour or atta : 3/4th cup
  2. Salt : 1/4 th tsp
  3. Cumin seed : 1/4th tsp
  4. Ghee : 2 tsp
  5. Water as per requirement

Instructions

  1. Take atta, salt, cumin seed and ghee in a bowl. Mix it well.
  2. With the help of water make a tight dough.
  3. With the help of 1 tsp ghee coat the dough and cover it for 15 minutes. Keep it aside.
  4. After 15 minutes with the help of dry flour make a thick chapati.
  5. Heat the tawa in a gas and keep the flame low.
  6. Place the roti in the tawa.
  7. Cook the roti from one side for 2 to 3 minutes in low flame till small bubbles comes.
  8. Then flip the roti and with the help of your hand starts pinching from the center.
  9. After finishing flip the roti and cook for 2 to 3 mintes.
  10. Then place the roti in the gas top and bake it from both sides for more 2 to 3 minutes.
  11. When the roti is cooked properly from both the sides grease it with generous amount of desi ghee and serve hot with dal or paneer ki sabji.
