Navratna kurma

Ingredients to make Navratna kurma

  • 1 Apple, pear, banana chopped
  • 1 banana chopped
  • 4 to 5 seedless black or green grapes
  • 1 small piece pineapple chopped
  • I cup pomegranate seeds
  • 1 cup papaya chopped
  • 2 to 3 strawberry chopped
  • 1 kiwi chopped
  • 1 onion
  • 1 tomato
  • 1 full coconut
  • 4 to5 green chillies
  • 1 tbsp fennel seeds
  • 4 carrots chopped long pieces
  • 8 to10 beans chopped long pieces
  • 1 cup peas
  • 4 to 5 pieces cauliflower
  • 1 small piece of bottle gourd
  • 1 small piece of white pumpkin
  • 1 green cardamon, cinnamon stick, cloves
  • 1 pineapple flower
  • 1 tsp garam masala powder
  • 1 tsp curds
  • 2 potatoes chopped
  • coriander for garnish
  • 4 to 5 curry leaves
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • salt to taste

How to make Navratna kurma

  1. In the cooker add oil add curry leaves, let it crackle. Make a paste onions, tomatoes, coconut, green chillies, full garam masala ,fennel seeds and add to the curry leaves.
  2. Keep stirring till it leaves oil. Add garam masala powder, salt , dhanya pwd, then add 1 tsp curds, coriander mix well then add the vegetables mix well then add salt , water in pressure cook for 4 whistles.
  3. Turn off the gas pour it in a bowl add chopped fruits on top of it and serve.
