ABOUT Chocolate Bundt Cake RECIPE

This is a delicious chocolate cake made in a Bundt pan. Because it is made with wheatflour, it is comparatively healthier than that made with all purpose flour.

Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. Wheat flour 1 + 1/2 cup
  2. Cocoa powder 1/2 cup
  3. Sugar (powdered) 1 + 1/2cup
  4. Baking powder 1 +1/2 tsp
  5. Baking soda 1/2 tsp
  6. Egg 3
  7. Oil 2/3 cup
  8. Milk 1 cup (and some more if required)
  9. chocolate essence
  10. Icing sugar (for garnish)


  1. Sieve together all the dry ingredients, i.e. wheatflour, cocoa powder, sugar powder, baking powder and baking soda..
  2. This step helps to mix all the ingredients well
  3. In a big bowl, beat the eggs.
  4. Then add the oil, chocolate essence and milk and mix well.
  5. Now, add the sifted dry ingredients little by little and mix using cut and fold method.
  6. Adjust the consistency by adding a little more milk if required. The consistency should be thick yet pourable.
  7. Now, preheat the oven or the convection mode of the microwave at 180 degrees.
  8. In the meanwhile, take a bundt pan and grease it well. I used a silicon mould, which is a better option as it does not require greasing and the cake comes out of it easily.
  9. Pour the batter in the mould and keep for baking in a preheated oven /convection mode of microwave for 45 minutes.
  10. After 45 minutes, check for doneness by inserting a toothpick.
  11. If the toothpick comes out clean, you cake is baked otherwise bake for another 5-10 minutes.
  12. Keep the Bundt pan for cooling.
  13. When it has cooled a little, take the cake out of the mould and let it cool on a wire rack.
  14. Sprinkle icing sugar before serving.
