Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Cooked rice 2 cups
  2. Butter 3 table spoon
  3. All purpose flour 2 table spoon
  4. Milk 1 cup
  5. Salt as required
  6. Pepper powder 1/2 teaspoon
  7. Heavy cream 2 table spoon ( I used fresh cream, you can make it without cream also)
  8. shredded mozzarella cheese 1 cup


  1. Heat butter in a pan. Add all purpose flour little quantity at a time and mix well.
  2. Then add milk and mix. Stir it well so there should not any lump formation.
  3. Thus prepare the white sauce. Add salt and pepper
  4. Take leftover cooked rice
  5. Add the rice to the white sauce
  6. Mix well. Add the cream and mix
  7. Grease the baking container with butter
  8. Pour the rice and white sauce mix in it.
  9. Spread shredded mozzarella cheese all over on the top (I have added cheese slices also:yum:)
  10. Bake it for about 20 minutes at 200°C. Then grill it at 600° for 4 minutes for getting the brownish upper layer( if you have broil option in your oven then broil it no need to grill it)
  11. Serve hot
