Dahi Bhalle chaat is one of the most refreshing street food of India.But I have made it with left over rice instead of lentils, mixed with soaked bread & spices.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Left over cooked rice...2cup
  2. Brown bread slices...3
  3. Cumin powder...1tspn
  4. Black salt...1/4teaspn
  5. Salt to taste
  6. Green chilli...2
  7. Curd...1cup
  8. Red chilli powder...1tspn
  9. Sugar...1/2teaspn
  10. Sev
  11. Dhaniya_pudina chutney...2tspn
  12. Tomato sauce...1tspn
  13. Tamarind chutney...1tspn

Instructions

  1. Make a paste of left over cooker rice, soaked bread slices, salt & green chilli.Don't add water.
  2. Paste is ready.
  3. Make small balls from the paste.
  4. Heat enough oil in a pan & deep fry the vada in medium flame till it turns crispy.
  5. Vada is ready.
  6. Blend curd with salt, sugar & cumin powder.
  7. Take a plate, place the vadas & pour the curd mixture & dhaniya_pudina chutney on it.
  8. Add tamarind chutney,tomato sauce, red chilli powder, cumin powder, black salt & sev.Serve chilled.
