ABOUT Fiber Delight RECIPE

Many times...we do have chapatis leftover and we think..what new can we make with minimum time and efforts and maintain balanced healthy nutrition too..so just remembered how my grandma used to make this always for me so that i finish my lunch as soon as posaible to get this daadi ka laddu after lunch...jaggery has high amounts of antioxidants and minerals...it acts as detox thus flushing all over toxins in the body...do try this...

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Left over roti 8-10
  2. Jaggery(brown sugar) 1 cup
  3. Ghee 1/2 cup
  4. Almonds 5-6
  5. Kismis 5-6
  6. Muskmelon seeds 2 tsp
  7. Khus khus 1 tsp
  8. Cardamon powder 1 tsp
  9. Cinnamon 1/2 tsp

Instructions

  1. Firstly crumble left over rotis into fine pieces either with your hands or churn in grinder in opposite direction for 30 sec 2-3 times..
  2. Collect all the ingredients
  3. Now add brownsugar(jaggery),almonds,mismos,muskmelon seeds,cardamon powder,cinnamon powder and mix well
  4. Add required ghee spoon by spoon and form a ball...See if it breaks..U need to add more ghee...
  5. Now make desired shape...Balls,leaves,etc...I have used mould to make a shape by pressing the mixture into it and removing from it..
  6. Slit almonds into two and place on the top and sprinkle khus khus in the top
  7. Serve this to each one of the family to make the healthy balanced nutritive body..
