About shrimps biriyani with leftovet rice Recipe

we often face problem due to leftovers food.This is one of the reccipe how i used leftover rice.This recipe is really rich and delicious.

Ingredients to make shrimps biriyani with leftovet rice

  • left over rice 300 gms apprx
  • shrimps 300 gms
  • 1 big potato cut into cubes
  • 1 tomato chpped
  • onions 2 for beresta
  • onion 1&1/2 for paste
  • garlic pods 10
  • green chillies 5/6
  • Dried red chillies 4
  • ginger paste 1&1/2 tspn
  • red chilly powder 1/2 tspn
  • 2 cardamoms
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 3/4 cloves
  • biriyani masala 1 hipped tspn
  • ghee 4 tspn
  • oil 100 gms
  • salt
  • sugar
  • Food color
  • raisins 15

How to make shrimps biriyani with leftovet rice

  1. thinly slice the onions, fry in hot oil to make beresta
  2. keep aside
  3. now again pour oil in the kadai pan and throw the salt smeared potato cubes. fry well & keep aside
  4. make a past of remaining onions, garlic & chilles.
  5. now pour 2 tspn ghee into the pan,put cardamom, cloves and cinnamon after it melts
  6. wait till it crackles
  7. add the onions, galic,chillies paste
  8. fry well
  9. after a while add chopped tomato & fry with the paste.
  10. when it will getting little dry,add the ginger paste
  11. fry altogether for 3 min followed by adding more into pan
  12. put the wased & cleaned shrimps
  13. add red chilly powder
  14. add salt
  15. keep bhunoying till it leaves oil from side
  16. then slow down the flame
  17. now pour 1/2 cup of water
  18. add the biriyani masala
  19. add thee fried potato, raisins
  20. mix well with the masala then keep half of the curry aside
  21. now add the layer of cooked rice over it & then topped with the remaining curry,bresta. sprinkle some salt,sugar and biriyani masala over the top
  22. add ghee and food color drops over the top
  23. cooked in Dum for 25 min.

My Tip:

cooked for dum until u get a sound that confirm u that there is no water left in the biriyank.
