About Seekh paratha with green chutney Recipe

Motton seekh kabab is a mughlai delicacy. These juicy kababs can be made with any mince u like. They are terrific appetizer but also make nice side dish to main meal. You can also surve them with parathas and green chutney.

Ingredients to make Seekh paratha with green chutney

  • For Seekh kabab....
  • Mutton mince 400 gms
  • green chilly paste 2 tsp
  • ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • onion 2 medium sized (greated and squiz out water)
  • Garam masala powder 2 to 3 tsp
  • red chilly powder 2 to 3 tsp
  • Coriender powder 2 tsp
  • turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
  • cumin powder 1 tsp
  • salt as required
  • Coriender leaves 1 cup
  • mint leaves 1/2 cup
  • butter (for brushing)
  • oil (for frying)
  • For parathas..
  • Maida 500 gms (all purpose flour)
  • oil 1 tbsp
  • salt as required

How to make Seekh paratha with green chutney

  1. Wash mutton mince and squiz out water properly.
  2. Add all the ingredients mentioned under '' For seekh kabab''. and grind everything well to get a paste of thick consistency.
  3. Mix everything well.
  4. Divide this mixture into 8 equal portion. Apply oil in ur palms and pet the mixture. Shape the mixture into kababs. and put them onto the skewers. Apply butter on kababs with brush.
  5. Put them in oven and keep it for 15 to 20 minutes on 200 degrees. ( i cook them in oven 1st becoz it will get proper binding and not break). After that shallow fry it till it turns into reddish brown colour.
  6. And the kababs are ready. Surve it hot with parathas and green chutney
  7. For Paratha..... Make dough with ingredients mentioned under '' for parathas''. and make parathas for seekh kabab.
  8. You can also put seekh kababs between parathas and make rolls. and surve it with ketchup, mayonnaise and green chutney.

My Tip:

You can give charcoal smoke to seekh kababs if you want smokey flavor.
