ABOUT Sprouted Moong Wraps RECIPE

Sprouts are the most healthy source of protiens as well as the treasure houses of many an essential nutrients. The entire process of sprouting increases the nutrient levels and apart from folate, manganese, potassium etc, makes them rich in protien, thiamin, niacin, copper, iron, Vit.C and K etc. The list is endless and makes for an ideal food for the growing children as well as adults. The benefits are many and the use of these in wraps make them look even more lovely and a best accompaniment to school or office.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 5-6 leftover rotis
  2. 1 tbsp lemon juice
  3. 1 tsp chaat masala
  4. 1 onion finely chopped
  5. 1 tbsp Oil or ghee (to smear on rotis while reheating)
  6. 2 cups leftover ghee sauteed green gram sprouts

Instructions

  1. Reheat all the leftover rotis at first by smearing a little oil or ghee on them.
  2. Similarly reheat the ghee sauteed sprouts also.
  3. Place 3 tablespoons of this stir fried sprouts in the rotis or chapatis and fold thus giving rise to the most healthier options to enjoy at breakfast or brunch.
  4. Add chopped raw onion if desired. Otherwise it can be skipped.
  5. Squeeze some lemon juice and sprinkle chaat masala according to taste and one's choice.
  6. Pack these for tiffin or have them at brunch. Either ways you are going to love them.
