I made this paratha from leftover beat dough. Favourite for kids paratha.
Looks great!
Checked board paratha is outstanding
Take a dough of beat mixed
Roll it with rolling pin
Proper size like paratha.
Make stripes with knife or pizza cutter.
Keep aside.
Take another white paratha douhg.
Roll it and make strips with knife or pizza cutter.
Now take white one strip up .all do it with alternative manner.
Now take one strip of red colour
Put it on white stripped paratha.horizontally.
Repeat this process .again and again.
Till the whole paratha is done.
And roast it on tava on slow flame.
And the chekmate paratha is done.
