Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 1-Clams,cleaned_200 gms
  2. 2-ginger garlic paste_1 tbsp
  3. 3-greenchilly_2 nos
  4. 4-onion big,sliced_ 2 nos
  5. 5-curryleaves- 2 strings
  6. 6-turmeric powder_ half tsp
  7. 7-redchilli powder_ 1 tsp
  8. 8-pepper powder_ 1 tsp
  9. 9-garamasala powder_ 1 tsp
  10. 10-grated coconut_ 2 tbsp
  11. 11-salt required
  12. 12- Malabar tamarind_ a small piece
  13. 13-coconut oil_4 tbsp
  14. 14-coriander powder 1 tbsp

Instructions

  1. 1 In a pan, add, cleaned clams,lil salt n turmeric powder,half cup water n cook on low flame till the water gets absorbed completely.
  2. 2. Take a nonstick skillet,add 4 tbsp of coconut oil,add chopped onions, ggpaste, curry leaves, green chillies,saute well on medium flame nicely till it gets light brown,then add all the powders in the list n mix well.
  3. 3. Add Cooked clams in the roasted onion mixture,add salt,mix everything nicely, n cook on a low flame, with a closed lid.
  4. After 5 minutes remove the lid,add coconut grated, Malabar tamarind,lil coconut oil n roast everything nicely,keep stirring.finally garnish with fresh coriander n serve hot.
