ABOUT Fish fry special RECIPE

A spicy fish fry cooked in coconut oil and a thick paste of onion and shallots.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Seer fish 1/2kg
  2. Chilly powder 2 tbsp
  3. Pepper 1 tbsp
  4. Big onion 3 no diced
  5. Shallots 10 nos
  6. Turmeric powder 1 tsp
  7. Salt to taste
  8. Coconut oil for frying
  9. Lemon juice 1 lemon

Instructions

  1. Grind big onion, shallots, chilly powder, pepper, turmeric powder, and salt into a paste
  2. Marinate the fish with this paste and lemon juice for 10 min
  3. Shallow frying is needed. In a hot pan pour some oil.when the oil is hot put the marinated fish pieces.
  4. Cover it with a lid and cook in low flame for 5 min. Fry the other side also for 5 min in low flame. Now cook in high flame stirring occasionally for 5 min so that the onion paste and the fish become dry and dark brown in colour.
