Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. For Sauce :
  2. Asafoetida one pinch
  3. Jeera 1/4tsp
  4. Fresh cream 1tsp
  5. Ginger 1/2 tsp
  6. Garlic 1 tsp chopped
  7. Kasoori methi 1/2tsp
  8. Oil or butter or ghee 3tsp
  9. Curry powder 3/4tsp
  10. Garam masala powder 1/2tsp
  11. Chillipowder 1/2tsp
  12. Tumeric powder 1/8tsp
  13. Cashew 5
  14. Cardamom 1
  15. Onion 1
  16. Tomato 3
  17. For ravioli :
  18. Salt
  19. Water for kneading and boiling
  20. Olive oil 1/2tsp
  21. Turmeric one pinch (optional for color)
  22. Flour 1/2cup
  23. Scrambled paneer 1/4cup
  24. Chillipowder 1/4tsp

Instructions

  1. In a wide bowl add flour ,salt ,turmeric (no need if you use 2egg yolk and little water) ,oil
  2. Mix the dry ingredients along with oil and slowly start adding water and make a stiff pliable dough
  3. Dough should not be too soft
  4. Rest it for 5minutes.
  5. Mean time crumble paneer with chilli powder and salt and mash well
  6. Then knead it again for a minute a d divide into two balls
  7. Start rolling the dough dough Sheet as thin as possible
  8. Dust the dough each time u flip and roll it or it may stick and hard to lift after stuffing
  9. After rolling thin cut into two rectangles and grease the border with water
  10. Place the paneer at regular intervals or one by one and grease the borders between each balls with water
  11. Place the paneer slightly above the border of rectangle for easy sealing
  12. Press the side of stuffing at same time for air release and seal the remaining side with minimum air inside and a bulgy stuffing
  13. Boil water in a small pan or kadai
  14. Put the ravioli in the boiling water and cook for 1.30 to 2minutes or till it is glossy and done
  15. Set aside the ravioli
  16. For curry :
  17. In a mixie jar add diced onion tomato garlic ginger cashew cardamom and puree well
  18. In a kadai add oil
  19. When it heats up add jeera and little asafoetida
  20. Now add the puree and cook well till its dry and half done
  21. Add the turmeric chilli powder currypowder and garam masala powder and mix well
  22. Saute till you get good aroma and oil starts separating out
  23. Now add a cup of boiling water. And let it boil for few minutes and it start to get thicken
  24. Now add the crushed kasoori methi, ravioli, adjust seasoning and switch off stove
  25. Now add the cream and serve with chappathi
