About Nachos Mac and Cheese Recipe

Nachos is a dish from northern Mexico that consists of tortilla chips (or totopos) covered with mince and cheese or a cheese-based sauce often served as a snack. More elaborate versions add other ingredients and may be served as a main dish. Macaroni is dry pasta shaped like narrow tubes. Made with durum wheat, macaroni is commonly cut in short lengths; curved macaroni may be referred to as elbow macaroni. Some home machines can make macaroni shapes, but like most pasta, macaroni is usually made commercially by large-scale extrusion. The curved shape is created by different speeds of extrusion on opposite sides of the pasta tube as it comes out of the machine. Today I have make Fusion Macaroni and it is Nachos Mac and Cheese. It is crispy as well as yummy. It is useful recipe for Nachos lovers.

Ingredients to make Nachos Mac and Cheese

  • A) For Nachos
  • 3/4 cup maize flour
  • 5 tbsp all purpose flour
  • 2 tsp oil
  • 1/4 tsp carom seeds
  • 1/2 tsp Dried Oregano
  • salt to taste
  • oil for Deep frying
  • Plain flour for dusting
  • B) For Pasta
  • 1 packet Maggi Macaroni pasta
  • salt to taste
  • 250 ml water
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • C) for Cheese sauce
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp all purpose flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup cheese grated
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper powder
  • salt to taste

How to make Nachos Mac and Cheese

  1. Take a bowl.
  2. Add maize flour, all purpose flour, salt, oil, carom seeds and oregano.
  3. Combine all the ingredients.
  4. Knead into a soft Dough using enough water.
  5. Divide the dough into 3 equal parts.
  6. Roll the portion in circle by dusting all purpose flour with rolling pin.
  7. After that prick it evenly with frok.
  8. Cut it into equal shape triangle.
  9. And keep aside.
  10. Now heat the oil in frying pan.
  11. Deep fry the chips until crisp and golden brown on Medium flame.
  12. Drain on an absorbent paper.
  13. Keep it aside.
  14. Now in cooking pot heat 250 ml water.
  15. Add salt and oil.
  16. After one boil add the macaroni.
  17. Cook it for 8-10 minutes.
  18. After that heat some butter in pan.
  19. After that add all purpose flour.
  20. Stir consistency.
  21. Keep stirring.
  22. Add milk and stir it well.
  23. Stir until sauce thickened.
  24. After that add cheese into it.
  25. Cook until cheese melts.
  26. Make sure flame is low.
  27. After that turn off the flame.
  28. Remove the pan from stove.
  29. Add black pepper powder and salt to taste.
  30. Again mix it well.
  31. Now toss the macaroni with cheesy sauce.
  32. After that take a serving bowl.
  33. Place some macaroni into it.
  34. After that place 4 nachos chips on it.
  35. Again place macaroni with help of spoo.
  36. Pour the cheesy sauce on it.
  37. Nachos Mac and Cheese is ready to be served.

My Tip:

You can also add veggies in cheesy sauce.
