ABOUT Hot Chilli Garlic Sauce RECIPE

A thick, spicy aromatic sauce, a perfect combination/dip with your Chinese dishes. Also a good base for a spicy hot curry any day.

Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. 300 grams bird’s eye chillies
  2. 200 grams garlic
  3. 200 grams white onions
  4. 50 mili litre of vegetable oil


  1. Remove the stalks of the chillies
  2. Peel the skin and chop the onions roughly
  3. Crush the garlic heads, peel individual cloves
  4. Add all the 3 to a blender/ food processor
  5. Add the oil and blend smooth
  6. transfer the mixture in a heavy bottom non stick saucepan
  7. place the saucepan on the stove on medium heat
  8. let the mixture come to a boil
  9. once boiling, turn the heat to Low and let the sauce simmer to thickness
  10. once done, turn off the heat and transfer the sauce into a sterilised ceramic/glass container
  11. close the lid loosely and let the sauce cool completely
  12. that’s all! our hot, finger licking chilli garlic sauce is ready once completely cooled
  13. store airtight and use within 6-8 months
