ABOUT tomato gojju RECIPE

It is a spicy gravy curry made by using tomato , onion and tamarind pulp.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Three cups of chopped ripe tomato
  2. one cup of chopped onion
  3. two spoon groundnut oil
  4. half spoon each of jeera , mustard and methi
  5. three green chillies slit
  6. one and half spoon salt
  7. pinch of turmeric
  8. half cup tamarind juice
  9. small piece of jaggery
  10. one spoon rasam powder
  11. three spoons roasted and powdered til

Instructions

  1. Heatoil. Add mustard , jeera, methi, green chillies, onion salt and saute till golden brown
  2. Now add pinch of turmeric and chopped tomatoes. Add tamarind juice and jaggery.
  3. When tomatoes are done add rasam powder and til powder and also curry leaves. Tasty gojju is ready
