This combination is favourite amongst Sindhi's & specially made on Sundays.This sweet-savoury dish is loved by all.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Sevaiyan- half pack(roasted)
  2. Sugar to taste around 5-6 spoons
  3. Water to cook
  4. Clarified butter 1-2 tsp
  5. Potatoes-2 chopped in cubes
  6. Red chilli powder(lal mirch)-1/4 tsp
  7. Coriander powder(dhania)-1/4 tsp
  8. Turmeric powder(haldi)-1/4 tsp
  9. Salt to taste
  10. Papads 2 roasted


  1. To make seviyan take half pack of roasted seviyoon packet.
  2. In a kadhai put 2-3 tsp of pure ghee. Break seviyan into small pcs. Roast it till colour changes to dark brown.
  3. Add sugar as per your taste ( I use 6 big spoons),add water till it covers seviyan in kadhai. Cook it on high flame first and after a boil, just let it simmer.
  4. Cover & cook.Give a nice mix and check if water is absorbed. Its ready to eat.
  5. For Deep fried potatoes, peel and cut potatoes into cubes.
  6. Deep fry till cooked. Drain from oil. Add salt, lal mirch powder, dhania powder & haldi.
  7. Serve hot with deep fried potatoes & roasted papad.
