Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Brown rice 1 cup
  2. Water 2 and half cup
  3. Salt 2 pinches
  4. Oil 1/4 tsp

Instructions

  1. The most difficult part about cooking brown rice is to get the water ration right
  2. Soak 1 cup of brown rice fir around 30-40 mins
  3. Wash and drain the rice
  4. In rice cooker container, add washed rice, salt, oil and water
  5. Brown rice tends to be very bland, and hence the salt, which again is optional
  6. Turn the rice cooker to cooking mode and wait till its done
  7. Your healthy brown rice is ready
