Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. Fish (mackarel, Bangda) 6 nos
  2. Coconut 1( scraped )
  3. Whole chillies
  4. Haldi pd 1 tsp
  5. Dhania 1 tsp
  6. Roasted jeera methi
  7. Onion 1
  8. Garlic 3
  9. Ginger 1 inch
  10. Tamarind
  11. Mustard seed 1/2 tsp
  12. Curry leaves
  13. Oil
  14. Salt
  15. Drumstick 2

Instructions

  1. Clean and cut fish into two. Cut drumstick, boil it with salt and drain water. Keep aside.
  2. Now grind coconut, red chillies, coriander, haldi, roasted jeera, methi, onion, garlic, tamarind into a smooth paste.
  3. Heat vessel and add oil then add mustard seed and let it splutter.
  4. Then add curry leaves and onion. When onion turns pink then add ground mixture.
  5. Then add ginger green- chillies(optional) and then add water to make curry.
  6. Then let it boil and add salt.
  7. Then add fish let it boil in fast flame for 10 min then cook it in slow flames for 10 to 15 min.
  8. Then garnish it with coriander leaves and serve it with rice.
