ABOUT Fried Chicken RECIPE

This is my own recipe. Believe or not, it's way better than KFC.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Chicken drumsticks - 6
  2. Lemon juice - 2-3 tablespoons
  3. Vinegar - 1 tablespoon
  4. Milk - 1/4 cup
  5. Salt - as needed
  6. Crushed black pepper - 1 tablespoon
  7. Ginger paste - 1 teaspoon
  8. Garlic paste - 1 teaspoon
  9. Onion paste - 1/4 cup
  10. Green chilli paste - 1 tbsp
  11. Turmeric powder - 1 teaspoon
  12. Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
  13. Coriander powder - 1 teaspoon
  14. Whole egg - 2-3
  15. Plain flour - 1/3 Cup
  16. Breadcrumb - 2 Cup
  17. Oil - for deep frying

Instructions

  1. Wash, drain and pat dry the drumstick pieces.
  2. Cut few strips on chicken or prick a lot with a fork.
  3. Make a paste with lemon juice, vinegar, milk, salt, pepper, ginger - garlic - onion paste, green chilli paste, turmeric powder cumin powder and coriander powder.
  4. Marinate the chicken with this paste.
  5. Cover with a cling wrap and rest for 7 to 8 hours in the fridge.
  6. In a bowl beat the eggs lightly and set aside.
  7. Place the flour in one plate.
  8. Place the breadcrumbs in another plate.
  9. Dust the marinated chicken with the flour.
  10. Then deep into the beaten egg.
  11. Finally roll into the breadcrumbs and nicely coat.
  12. One more time dip those drumstick pieces into the beaten egg.
  13. Finally one more time roll into the breadcrumbs.
  14. Rest for 30 minutes in the fridge.
  15. Heat the oil for deep frying on medium flame.
  16. Deep fry those chicken pieces on low flame.
  17. Put on a tissue paper to absorb the extra oil and serve hot and enjoy the food.
