About Lotus Rice(Dry Lotus seed Rice) Recipe
This recipe is a Vegetarian version of Non-vegetarian lotus rice.Usually in Vietnam or in other parts of Asia continent pork or chicken is used in this dish.Glutinous rice or sticky rice is used to prepare this dish.In this recipe I used basmati rice with vegetables and follow the same procedure to prepare the dish, but of course with vegetarian delight to satisfy your tastebuds.
Ingredients to make Lotus Rice(Dry Lotus seed Rice)
- Dry/Fresh Lotus seeds 1/2 cup
- Mix vegetables chopped 1Cup
- Cooked 3Cups
- Finely chopped 1 small
- Black powder 1Tsp
- to taste
- Sesame /vegetable 1Tbsp
- Soy Sauce 1Tsp
How to make Lotus Rice(Dry Lotus seed Rice)
My Tip:You can use aluminium foil instead of parchment paper. As its winter I couldn't get lotus leaf so used parchment paper.
