ABOUT Paneer and Beans quesadilla RECIPE

Quesadilla is a Mexican dish, consisting of a tortilla filled with veggies, cheese and then grilled. In this recipe the is fusion of tortilla with mix flours and beans and paneer to make healthier option.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Wheat flour 3/4 cup
  2. Jower flour 1/4 cup
  3. Curd 1/2 cup
  4. Spinach or coriander 1/4 cup
  5. Turmeric powder 1 tsp
  6. Red chilli powder 1 tsp
  7. Salt
  8. Paneer 1/2 cup
  9. Soaked and cooked rajma 1/2 cup
  10. Mixed herbs 1 tsp
  11. Chilli ginger paste 1 tsp
  12. Oil
  13. Tomato sauce 1 tbs

Instructions

  1. Mix wheat flour, jower flour, grated carrots and chopped spinach or coriander, salt, turmeric, red chilli powder, 1 tsp oil, and curd. Mix them and make soft dough with the help of water.
  2. Rest the dough for 10 minutes.
  3. Knead dough and divide in six parts.
  4. Roll them and make tortillas for quesadilla. Dry roast on roti tawa.
  5. Mixed paneer, cooked and semi smashed rajma, green chillies and ginger paste, salt, mixed herbs and tomato sauce and make stuffing ready for quesadilla.
  6. Stuff the above stuffing on one tortilla, cover with another tortilla. Press and again cook it on tawa with little oil. Cut the quesadilla in 4 parts with pizza cutter.
  7. Paneer beans quesadilla is ready to serve in lunch with some salad and curd.
