Corn capsicum fried rice

Ingredients to make Corn capsicum fried rice

  • Cooked basmati rice - 1 cup
  • capsicum - 2 , finely chopped
  • corn kernels - 1/2 cup
  • ginger - finely chopped, 1 tsp
  • garlic - 3-4 cloves, finely chopped
  • White pepper powder - 2 tsp
  • chilli flakes - 1tsp
  • Light soy sauce - 1tsp
  • Chilli garlic sauce - 1tsp
  • Green chilli sauce - 1tsp
  • salt to taste
  • sugar - A pinch
  • oil - 2 tsp

How to make Corn capsicum fried rice

  1. In a pan, heat some oil and add the ginger and garlic.
  2. Once the garlic starts to turn golden, add the corn kernels.
  3. Add the white pepper powder, soy sauce, green chilli sauce, chilli garlic sauce, salt, some sugar and mix well.
  4. Sprinkle some water so the spices don't burn. Also, the corn uses this to cook.
  5. Add the capsicum and saute for a couple of minutes.
  6. Add the cooked basmati rice and mix well.
  7. Turn off the heat and serve hot.

yummy dish, but I will add little less of the corn and capsicum ok, for me little lesser will be tastier :)

very nice recipe..why is the sugar added in it? I think the corn will already be quite sweet.
