Just a couple of veggies and some spices and sauces that you find in your kitchen and voila! You have some yummy fried rice ready in no time!

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Cooked basmati rice - 1 cup
  2. Capsicum - 2 , finely chopped
  3. Corn kernels - 1/2 cup
  4. Ginger - finely chopped, 1 tsp
  5. Garlic - 3-4 cloves, finely chopped
  6. White pepper powder - 2 tsp
  7. Chilli flakes - 1tsp
  8. Light soy sauce - 1tsp
  9. Chilli garlic sauce - 1tsp
  10. Green chilli sauce - 1tsp
  11. Salt to taste
  12. Sugar - A pinch
  13. Oil - 2 tsp


  1. In a pan, heat some oil and add the ginger and garlic.
  2. Once the garlic starts to turn golden, add the corn kernels.
  3. Add the white pepper powder, soy sauce, green chilli sauce, chilli garlic sauce, salt, some sugar and mix well.
  4. Sprinkle some water so the spices don't burn. Also, the corn uses this to cook.
  5. Add the capsicum and saute for a couple of minutes.
  6. Add the cooked basmati rice and mix well.
  7. Turn off the heat and serve hot.

yummy dish, but I will add little less of the corn and capsicum ok, for me little lesser will be tastier :)

very nice recipe..why is the sugar added in it? I think the corn will already be quite sweet.
