Ingredients to make Danish bun

  • all purpose flour 2 cups
  • dry East 1/ 2 teaspoon
  • Mayonnaise 1 teaspoon
  • sugar one teaspoon
  • salt to taste
  • grated cashew nut 4 teaspoon
  • Grated pistachio 4 teaspoon
  • grated cheese 4 teaspoon
  • Grated chocolate 4 teaspoon
  • butter 4tsp
  • Cherry for garnishing
  • egg 3 teaspoon
  • sugar syrup 1/2 cup

How to make Danish bun

  1. in a container assemble all purpose flour dry East sugar salt mayonnaise
  2. mix together
  3. Knead to a medium soft dough with lukewarm milk
  4. after 15 minutes add butter in the dough
  5. Rest the dough for 3 hours in warm place
  6. dough should be very double in size then we knead it again
  7. divide the dough into 3 section and shape them into balls
  8. cover the balls with a damp cloth
  9. assemble the grated cheese chocolate and nuts in a container
  10. roll out each balls to circle shape then brush a bit of melted butter and Sprinkle all purpose flour
  11. Spread grated chocolate nuts and cheese
  12. cover with Roti then brush with butter and Sprinkle all purpose flour
  13. again spread grated cheese chocolate and nuts
  14. again cover with the Roti then brush with butter
  15. carefully role up all Rotis together like a log
  16. Cut the log into 3 section
  17. grease a foilpaper with butter
  18. Place the small logs on the foil paper
  19. Press the logs with palm
  20. Garnish the buns with Cherry
  21. Rest aside for 15 minutes
  22. gently brush the bun with egg
  23. preheat the oven to 180 degree celsius temperature
  24. Bake for 15 minutes
  25. remove from oven and brush with melted butter then spread sugar syrup on the bun
