ABOUT Maa ke hath ka Gajar ka Halwa RECIPE

Gajar ka halwa is good option for breakfast. Carrot is a good source of beta carotene, fiber, vitamin K, potassium and antioxidants. Milk is a good source of thiamin, riboflavin, vitamin B12, B6 and fat soluble vitamin A D E and K.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Carrots red 500 gm
  2. Milk 250 ml
  3. Sugar 50 to 100 gm
  4. Milk powder 2tbs
  5. Ghee 2 tsp
  6. cardamom powder 1 tsp
  7. Nutmeg powder 1/8 tsp
  8. Almond 10 to12

Instructions

  1. Heat heavy bottom pan on gas add grated carrots and ghee saute for 2 minutes
  2. Add milk.
  3. Add milk powder.
  4. Cook on slow flame till milk evaporated. Stir continuely when milk evaporated.
  5. Add sugar. I like to add less sugar because i love sweetness of carrots and milk.
  6. When sugar water evaporated add cardamom and nutmeg powder and chopped almond.
  7. Serve hot hot gajar ka halwa in breakfast. Complete meal for everyone.
  8. Don't use khoya (mawa) or condensed milk. Keep it simple and easy full of vitamins and minerals.
