Ingredients to make Tricolour meetha paratha

  • 1 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • salt a pinch
  • 1 tbsp oil ,for kneading dough
  • 1/2 tsp orange food colour
  • 1/2 tsp green food colour
  • 11- 12 pieces kalakand
  • 3-4 tbsp ghee , frying paratha
  • 3 tbsp condensed milk
  • 1 tsp milk powder

How to make Tricolour meetha paratha

  1. Firstly ,in a bowl take flour,oil, salt mix it properly ,now add water little by little and make a semi soft dough , divide the dough into three parts ,add colour in two parts , prepare a orange dough ,a green dough and a white dough.
  2. Now divide each part into four equal size balls, two balls needed to make a paratha.
  3. Take two balls and roll with a rolling-pin,make small rotis ,place 1-2 pieces broken kalakand on the centre of a roti and covered with another roti.
  4. Seal the sides properly with little water ,dust some flour (if required) and roll it again.
  5. Cut the edges with cutter ,(this step is optional)
  6. Prepare all the parathas in same process one by one.
  7. Heat non-stick pan,put some ghee and fry the parathas.
  8. Fry the both sides properly.
  9. For preparing coloured sweet sauce,take 2 small size bowls ,mix condensed milk, milk powder and food colour.
  10. Serve hot with chilled sweet sauce.

My Tip:

Can mixed atta with flour.
