ABOUT Chickpea Fritters RECIPE

Fritters made out of chickpeas are easy,healthy and a filling breakfast.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 1 cup chickpeas soaked overnight.
  2. 1/4 cup chopped coriander
  3. 1 tsp Red chilly powder
  4. 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  5. 1/4 tsp salt
  6. 1/4 tsp sugar
  7. 1/4 tsp chat masala powder
  8. 2-3 tsp chickpea flour
  9. Oil to fry
  10. Tomato sauce and Mustard sauce

Instructions

  1. Pressure cook the soaked chickpeas with 5-6 whistles,till it is soft.
  2. Blend the boiled chickpeas in blender .
  3. Add all the spices and chickpea flour to the blended chickpeas.
  4. Add little water to form a lump free mixture.
  5. Heat oil in a flat pan ,once the oil is hot,add 2-3 tsp of batter to the oil.Flip it when one side is done.Fry both the sides.
  6. Take out from oil and put the Fritters on tissue paper.
  7. Serve it hot with your favorite sauce.
