Winter morning calls for some healthy,yummy Paratha.Methi Onion Paratha with Egg bhurji for a beautiful,snowy morning.Yogurt or Pickle equally goes well with this.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 1 cup wheat flour
  2. 1/2 tsp salt
  3. 1/4 cup crushed Kasuri methi
  4. 2-3 tsp olive oil
  5. 1/4 tsp sugar
  6. 1/2 medium sized onion chopped
  7. Water to knead the dough

Instructions

  1. Take 1.5 cup wheat flour in stand mixer,add 1/4 cup crushed Kasuri methi,1/4 cup salt,a pinch of sugar,2-3 tsp Olive oil.Gradually add water and make a little soft dough.
  2. Dough is prepared,keep it covered for 10-15 minutes.
  3. Take a portion of the dough. and make it round and smooth.
  4. Roll the dough little with a rolling pin.Chop a small onion,add 1/2 tsp onion inside the dough.
  5. Seal the sides and make round again.
  6. Roll it with a rolling pin to form a Paratha.
  7. Take a flat pan,heat it on medium flame and fry the Paratha.Add 1 tsp of oil on each side.Once both the sides are fried,keep it on a tissue paper and serve hot with yogurt,pickle or Egg bhurji.
