ABOUT Healthy Appam RECIPE

A Healthy Appam that is made up of oats,rice flour ,wheat flour and semolina/rawa with goodness of bengal gram dal or chana dal makes a very delicious breakfast in the morning and is very easy n quick recipe with less time.Kids will love to eat.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1/2 Cup Oats(powdered)
  2. 1/2 cup rice flour
  3. 1/2 cup wheat flour
  4. 1/2 cup Rawa/semolina
  5. 1/4 Cup curd(Sour better)
  6. 1/4 spoon cumin seeds or jeera
  7. A pinch of baking soda
  8. 1 big onion chopped
  9. 1/2 cup(optional)Vegies grated (carrot ,cabbage)
  10. 2 Green chillies (optiinal)
  11. Few Coriander leaves with stems
  12. Salt to taste
  13. Water as required
  14. Oil few spoon's

Instructions

  1. Soak chana dal
  2. In a bowl please mix all the given ingredients except oil
  3. Mix well and keep it aside for 10 minutes
  4. After 10 minutes heat a Appam Patra and put some oil in it and for the batter for cooking.
  5. Cook it on low to medium flame until they are roasted properly and then flip it.Your delicious Appams are ready to serve..You can eat it just like that or can have with ur favourite chutney.
