Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. Bottleguard 1 kg
  2. Yellow mustard seeds 4 tablespoons
  3. Fenugreek seeds 1 teaspoon
  4. Mangrail 1 teaspoon
  5. Fennel seeds 2 teaspoons
  6. Asafoetida 1/2 teaspoon
  7. Mustard oil 2 tablespoons
  8. Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Cut bottleguard in big big pieces
  2. Take a pressure cooker, and add the bottleguard now add water and salt and give it one whistle.
  3. Drain the water from the bottleguard.
  4. Apply salt and turmeric powder on it and keep it one full day in sun.
  5. Now roast, fenugreek seeds,fennel seeds and mangrail separately.
  6. Mix all the roasted spices in the grinder and make a fine powder.
  7. Now mix the roasted and grinded powder and mustard oil with the bottleguard.
  8. And store it in a pickle container.
