Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. 1 kg cauliflower
  2. 1 kg carrot
  3. 1 kg shaljam(turnip)
  4. 100gm hari mirch
  5. 50gm ginger
  6. 50gm garlic
  7. 250ml mustard oil
  8. 50 gm Rai(Sarson)(coarsly grinded)
  9. 100gm red chili powder
  10. 1 table spoon garam masala
  11. 2 table spoon turmeric powder
  12. 1 tea spoon jeera
  13. 1 tea spoon ajwain
  14. 100gm jaggery
  15. Salt as per taste
  16. 100ml vinegar
  17. 1 table spoon hing


  1. In a bowl mix jaggery and vinegar and keep aside
  2. Cut cauliflower in florets, small pieces of carrot, shaljam in slices, Hari mirch slit into two
  3. Boil the above ingredients(except Hari mirch) sieve it and let it dry
  4. Take mustard oil boil it and let little smoke come, add salt slow down the flame ,add garlic cloves,sliced ginger and Hari mirch, jeera hing, ajwain
  5. Mix it well add vinegar and Gur liquid
  6. Add all masala and  vegetables and mix well
  7. Stir it well and let it cool
  8. Fill in the jar
