Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Urad dal 2 cups
  2. Besan 1/4 cup
  3. Salt to taste
  4. Jeera 1 tsp
  5. Hing Pinch
  6. Curd approx 500 gms
  7. Sugar to taste
  8. Dates Chutney for garnish
  9. Coriander for garnish
  10. Red chilli powder for garnish
  11. Cumin powder for garnish
  12. Coriander powder for garnish


  1. Soak urad dal for 2 hours.
  2. After that remove excess water and grind the urad dal to thick paste.
  3. Remove the mixture in to the bowl.
  4. Add Salt, Jeera, Hing and besan to the mixture.
  5. Whisk the mixture until it gets fluffy.
  6. Heat enough oil for frying and fry the Wada at medium high flame.
  7. Keep frying until it turns to golden and crisp.
  8. Take cold water in the big bowl and soak the fried Wada in water for 10mins.
  9. Remove Wada from water by pressing to remove the excess water from the Wada.
  10. Arrange the Wada in the tray.
  11. Take bowl add sugar and pinch of salt to curd and whisk it.
  12. Mix well to dissolve the sugar.
  13. Pour the curd on the Wada.
  14. Garnish it with chilli powder,coriander powder,cumin powder, dates chutney and atlast with coriander leaves.
  15. Keep it in the refrigerator and serve chilled Dahi Wada to relish them.....
