Spicy Schezwan Chutney

Ingredients to make Spicy Schezwan Chutney

  • red chilli 150 gm
  • Sunflower oil 75 ml
  • Finely chopped garlic 6 tbsp
  • Finely chopped ginger 4 tbsp
  • tomato sauce 3 tbsp
  • red chilli sauce 3 tbsp
  • Soya sauce 1 tbsp
  • salt to taste

How to make Spicy Schezwan Chutney

  1. Take 150 gm of Red chilli.keep them in hot water and let soak for approx 15 - 20 minutes.
  2. After 20 min,transfer this soaked chillis into blender jer and make fine paste.Do not add much water.Add just about 1 - 2 tsp water it required.
  3. Heat 75 ml oil in a fry pan and add 6 tbsp finely chopped Garlic & 4 tbsp finely chopped Ginger mix well and fry 2 - 3 minutes.
  4. Then add Red chilli paste mix well. and fry on medium heat for 7 - 10 minutes.
  5. Now add 3 tbsp tomato sauce,1 tbsp soya sauce,3 tbsp rad chilli sauce & salt to taste.Mix well and fry on medium heat for 4 - 5 Minutes.
  6. When oil beging to float over the sauce,it is ready. you can store it in air tight glass cantainer it cool down completely.

My Tip:

If desiring of less spicy then you have to remove chilli seeds at first.
