Pickles are used to enhance the taste of food. Today I made Sattu stuffed Mirchi which tastes awesome and nutritious too.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 8 Bhavnagari Mirch red
  2. Sattu half cup
  3. Saunf 2 big spoon
  4. Rai one big spoon
  5. Methi dana one big spoon
  6. Ajwain 1 tablespoon
  7. Cumin seeds 1 tsp
  8. Black pepper 1 tablespoon
  9. Haldi 2 tablespoon
  10. Amchoor 3 tablespoon
  11. Salt 5 tbsp or to taste
  12. Mustard oil 5 big spoon


  1. First wash,deseeded and empty all the Bhavnagari mirch.
  2. Cut only one side and empty each Mirchi.
  3. Now roast All The Whole Spice like saunf,Rai,methi Dana,black pepper, ajwain and jeera.
  4. Grind all the ingredient in grinder.
  5. Now mix all the ingredients sattu, grind spices and powder spices (haldi,amchoor,salt).
  6. In a pan add oil and heat it until it become smokey.
  7. Let it cool.
  8. One big spoon oil add in the stuffing.
  9. Fill this mixture in red Bhavnagari mirch.
  10. Fill all the mirchies and pour all the oil,put in a pickle jar.
  11. Put this jar in sunlight for 4-5 days.
  12. After three days we can enjoy this pickle.
