Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Wheat flour-1 cup
  2. Sattu(flour of roasted gram daal)-1/2 cup
  3. Onion-1 small
  4. Garlic-3 cloves
  5. Green chilli-1
  6. Mustard oil-2 tsp
  7. Carom seeds-1 pinch
  8. Kalonji-1 pinch
  9. Ginger-1/2 inch
  10. Salt
  11. Stuffed red chilli masala or mango pickle masala-2 tsp
  12. Green coriander-1 tbsp


  1. Prepare all ingredients.
  2. Now take flour ,salt and 2 tsp oil in a mixing bowl and knead a semisoft dough.Cover and keep for 10 minutes.
  3. To prepare stuffing mix sattu,chopped onions,garlic,ginger,green chillies,kalonji,carom seeds,pickle masala, mustard oil and coriander leaves.
  4. Mux everything nicely and our stuffing is ready.
  5. Now take a medium size ball from dough and roll a small puri like circle first.
  6. Add a table spoon of masala on this.
  7. Now pinch together all sides and seal the stuffing.
  8. Now again apply some dry flour and roll out into a paratha.
  9. Roast with oil on a pan just like any other paratha.
  10. Serve hot sattu parathas with curd or pickle for breakfast.
