Dessicated Chicken Sukka

Ingredients to make Dessicated Chicken Sukka

  • chicken -1 bowl
  • onion- 3 chopped
  • tomato -2 chopped
  • curry leaves few spring
  • dessicated coconut -1 tbsp
  • salt to taste
  • Homemade Garam masala powder-1 tbsp
  • red chilly powder -1 tsp
  • green chillies -2
  • turmeric powder -1 tsp
  • coriander leaves -1 fist finely chopped
  • mint leaves -little
  • ghee- 1 tbsp
  • Coal - for smoke
  • ginger garlic paste-1 tsp
  • cumin seeds-1/2 tsp
  • fennel seeds-little
  • chicken masala powder -1/2 tsp

How to make Dessicated Chicken Sukka

  1. Take a vessel, add oil, heat it, add cumin and fennel seeds. When it starts spluttering, add chopped onions, saute it. Add tomatoes, green chillies and ginger garlic paste, mix well. Add chicken, mix well, add salt and add all other spices. Mix well, add water and cook till chicken is tender
  2. Take a wok, add ghee. When ghee is heated, add little cumin seeds. Again add dessicated coconut, curry leaves and mix well till its light brown and add it to the chicken gravy.
  3. Finally give a smoke and serve hot with chapatis or rice.

My Tip:

You can also use meat but you need to cook the mutton with turmeric and salt and water before.
